WanderfulWorldofTravel.com (formerly named KimandCarrie.com) is a travel blog with an emphasis on travel to Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, America’s National Parks and fun destinations around the world.
Kimberly Button is the founder, editor and writer behind WanderfulWorldofTravel.com.

Button lived in Orlando for nearly 20 years, working at Walt Disney World and visiting central Florida’s theme parks almost every day.

During her time at Disney World, she worked in many roles, including:
- Character performer (Chip and Dale, Kermit, parade performer and more roles)
- Attractions hostess at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (The Great Movie Ride performer, Backlot Tour)
- Disney College Program
- Disney Resort front desk
- On-Property Sales and Marketing
- Administrative Assistant at Team Disney

She also worked on Disney Cruise Line in collaboration with the Cruise Director to entertain cruise guests, teach educational seminars, lead tour excursions and develop recreational opportunities for the guests.
After living and working in Orlando for almost two decades and eating at just about every single restaurant and visiting every tourist attraction in the city, it was time to move on.
Button and her husband sold everything, moved out of their townhouse, and traveled the United States in an RV for a year. They spent all of their time visiting America’s National Parks.

Button has been an award-winning freelance journalist for more than two decades, an author of guidebooks and travel apps, photographer, TV correspondent and YouTuber.

She is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA).

Her articles have been published in international publications and major websites for over two decades, including:
- National Geographic Traveler
- AAA publications, including AAA Go and AAA Traveler
- American Airlines’ American Way
- American Airlines’ Celebrated Living magazine

Button is the author of The Everything Guide to a Healthy Home and The Disney Queue Line Survival Guidebook, as well as two Orlando travel apps.

At the age of 3 years old, Button was diagnosed with cancer and was treated by St. Judes doctors. She still remembers the Make-A-Wish trip her family took when she was young. As a Disney cast member, she loved making memories for Wish kids and volunteering at Give Kids the World.
After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and hip problems in college, Button has found that travel is perhaps the best thing that helps her deal with pain and physical limitations. The more she travels, the better she feels! The more she sits at home, the worse her symptoms get.
She spent years walking with a cane and using a wheelchair. Because of her experience, she is mindful of sharing accessibility details with travelers and being mindful of how to travel with a disability.
She currently lives in western North Carolina and spends lots of time exploring Hendersonville, Asheville and the Southeast.
