Want to get pictures with characters at Universal Studios? Of course you do!
Our Ultimate List of Universal Studios Characters gives you an idea of the types of characters that you can see in the Universal Orlando Resort theme parks, including Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
Character Interactions at Universal Studios: What to Expect
Keep in mind, character interactions at Universal Studios are not as common as they are at Walt Disney World.
While Disney World has set times for many of their most popular characters, Universal Studios does not.
You will find some dedicated character meet-and-greet locations at Universal theme parks. However, there are not as many as you will find at Walt Disney World.
In general, Universal Studios characters are usually found wandering the streets of the theme parks for character meet-and-greets. Some characters have outdoor photo opportunity spots set up for their photos.
As many of the attractions at Universal Studios theme parks are not suitable for kids because of height requirements, meeting characters is a great kid-friendly activity at Universal.
Especially if you are visiting Universal Studios with a toddler.
Do Characters Sign Autograph Books?
Many characters at Universal Studios will sign autograph books.
What Time Are Characters Out?
Finding character times at Universal Studios can be very frustrating. The Universal Studios app will list general character appearance times and locations. However, the app does not list the specific characters to be seen on that day, or specific times to come to an area for a meet and greet.

Meeting Universal Studios characters is one of the best things to do in the theme parks other than riding rides. This is an especially great activity if you are trying to avoid rides that cause motion sickness at Universal.
