Best Selfie Sticks for Universal Studios
As frequent travelers who are always looking for the best ways to take photos, we have bought and used a variety of selfie sticks over the years.
After using many different types, here are our recommendations for choosing a selfie stick:
- Choose one that is as light as possible
- Not all selfie-sticks fold up the same size. You want one that folds up as small as possible.
- BlueTooth enabled selfie sticks are not worth the money in our experience. Trying to rely on Wifi networks to use the feature is too frustrating and almost never works.
- Selfie-sticks with tripods are a good feature to have, but are often not functional. You will always need a level surface with no strong winds in front of the picture you are taking, which isn’t always possible.
Some of the best selfie-sticks we have ever used were bought at the Dollar Tree and the Target Dollar Spot. However, since they are not as popular as they once were, you may not find them at these locations anymore.
Here are the selfie-sticks we recommend:
Selfie Stick Tripod with Wireless Remote
This selfie stick is the one that we have used over and over again since purchasing it a few years ago. Truthfully, we have no idea where the wireless remote is and have never used it.
It is very lightweight, considering how sturdy it is and how thick the handle grip is.
We like it because it is easy to unfold and use quickly, the tripod on it is stable and there is no BlueTooth options.
This one is really affordable, which is the main reason we purchased it in the first place and we are very happy.
Monopod Selfie Stick
The inexpensive, no-frills selfie sticks are sometimes all you need. We have several of these styles and use them frequently.
Quite honestly, we never plug in the cord to the phone and use the button on the handle. We prefer to put the phone in the holder, set the photo timer on our phone to 10 seconds, click the button and wait for the countdown.
Priced at less than $10, this is an affordable investment to bring along on vacation and not be upset if you don’t end up using it more than you thought you would.
